PAYNE, Malcolm Douglas (Mac) (Wacker) - of Moncton, NB passed away on April 16, 1997 at Moncton Hospital at the age of 75. Malcolm was born on 18 December, 1921, in St. John, New Brunswick. He was the son of the late Joseph Albert and Myrtha Blanche (MacFarlane) Payne. Malcolm was a proud member of the RCNVR/RCN/RCNR joining in Feb. 1939 and was S.O.S. 20 Dec 1972 . Malcolm sailed on a lot of Canada's ships during his career; Carriers, Destroyers, Minesweepers and Gateboats. Malcolm was Manager for the Shearwater Flyers during their 1956 Championship season. Malcolm is survived by his daughter Carolyn (John) LeBlanc,son James (Judy) and son Ronald (Diane), as well as numerous grand and great grandchildren. Mac was predeceased by his wife, Lillian C. (Tomes) Payne (1984) and now rest together at St. John's Cemetery, Halifax Nova Scotia.
