ADKIN, Leslie Wilfred - Born September 15, 1925 in Biggar, Saskatchewan. Saturday, September 1, 2007. Le peacefully went to be with his beloved daughter, Patti. He will be greatly missed by his devoted and loving wife of 59 years, Kathleen; children, Cathy, Sue Porteous (Garth), and Bill (Sherry); grandchildren, Catherine (Darren), Mike (Kerri), Laura, and Meghan; great grandchildren, Hanna, Keira, and Aidan, whose visits always brought a smile to his face. His joy in life was his family. A note of thanks and appreciation to Marge and Chuck Moser for thier enduring support and friendship. Les served his country in the Royal Canadian Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He enjoyed golfing and could be found almost daily at Ardmore Golf Course. he left us as he lived, quietly, with dignity, and surrounded by family. The family wishes to thank the staff as SPH ECUI for their exceptional care. A Memorial service is to be held on Friday, September 7 at 10 am, First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
