In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
THOMSON, Theodore Dinnie (Ted) - It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Ted at Royal Jubilee Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Margaret in 1980 and brother Al in 2005. He is survived by his siblings Freda Hibbert and Oggie (June) Thomson. He will be deeply missed by his daughter Sandra, son Jim (Barb), grandson Stephen, his special friend Maggie and many nieces and nephews. At Ted's request there will be no service. His ashes will be scattered by the Navy at a later date as Ted served more that 25 years in the forces. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. (Victoria Times Colonist 10 Mar 2007)
Chief Thomson's ashes were committed to the sea on 16 Apr 2007
