James Robert (Bob) Cameron

Chief Petty Officer 2nd ClassEngine Room Artificer, RCN

 

Born: 20 Apr 1924, High River, Alberta

 

Died: 21 May 2023, Victoria, British Columbia

 

Bob served in the RCNVR (service number V31167) from 18 Mar 1942 to 1945, serving on both coasts..  He joined the RCN 07 Jul 1946 and retired 22 Jan 1968 as a C2ER (service number 23051-E) and served in the Korean War. After retirement in 1968 he went to work in the Graving Dock as a crane operator for 20 years.
