O'DONNELL, Edward Thomas (Ted) - was taken from us suddenly on October 19, 2001. Born on October 2, 1934 in Lachute, Quebec. He leaves his beloved wife, Dorothy; children, Gail (Reza), Heather, Gary (Kim), Bruce and Krista (lance); grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Tiffany, Zarah, Yasmine, Alex and Nolan. Ted was predeceased by his brother Paul in 1962 and sister, Barbara in 2001. He is survived by his brothers, Tim and Garth and sisters, Betty and Petty. Ted and Dorothy met at a roller skating rink, and have enjoyed 46 years of marriage. He served 25 years in the Canadian Navy, and had kept busy travelling, collecting and restoring since his retirement. A funeral service will be held at St. Alban's Church, 1468 Ryan St. on Tuesday, October 233 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Royal Oak Burial Park. Flowers gratefully declined, if desired, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Victoria, BC or to a charity of your choice.
