Died:  24 Jun 2014, Victoria, BC

 

ARNTSON, Maurice John (Moe) - Passed away peacefully with family at his side in Victoria on June 24, 2014. Moe is survived by his soul mate Mary after 42 years of marriage. Also survived by Daughters Bonnie Parhar (Jack), Donna Begley (Dennis), Lorraine Janes (Al), Natasha Arntson, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was a kind and generous man who loved his family and made everyone he met feel like family. He was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Navy from 1952 to 1974. We would like to thank our many friends, especially Fred and Joyce Kirke. A special thanks to Dr. Elizabeth Swiggum and her wonderful staff who blessed us with many more years with Moe. My love, my life, my Moe. Till we meet again. Celebration of Moe's life will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 at Chiefs & Petty Officers Mess at 1575 Lyall Street. Viewing will be held at Care Funeral at 2676 Wilfert Road. on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. (Victoria Times Colonist 27 Jun 2014)
