Harry Simpson Marshall

 

Lieutenant (E), O-46630, RCNVR

 

Born: 1921          Died: 1997

 

Harry Marshall transferred from the RCAF(R) to the RCNVR on 14 Apr 1942 and was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (E) (Temp), RCNVR. He was demobilized on 06 Dec 1945.  Harry died 1997 of Parkinsons Disease. Harry and his wife Emma were married on HMCS Toronto on 17 Mar 1945.

MONTREAL DIVISION RCNVR (HMCS MONTREAL) - Probationary SLt (Navy List Apr 1942)

HMCS CANSO - Appointed to Canso 24 Aug 1942 as a SLt (E), RCNVR (Navy List Sep 1942)

HMCS GIVENCHY - Appointed to Givenchy (for disposal) 01 May 1943 as a SLt (E), RCNVR (Navy List Aug 1943)

HMCS PRINCE HENRY - Harry is in the ship's company photo for HMCS Prince Henry dated March 1943, as a Slt (E).

HMCS ST CATHARINES - Appointed to St Catharines 06 Oct 1943 as a SLt (E), RCNVR  (Navy List Oct 1943)

HMCS CHARNY - Appointed to Charny 26 May 1944 as a Lt (E), RCNVR (Navy List Jul 1944)

HMCS TORONTO - Appointed to Toronto 01 Jul 1944 as a Lt (E), RCNVR (Navy List Jan 1945)
