NELLES, Alvin Milburn - Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and caring staff of Alexander Place, Waterdown on Monday, May 22, 2006, Alvin Nelles age 76. Devoted husband of 55 years to Catherine (Kay). Loving father of Sharmaine (Daniel), Debbie (Greg), Wendy (John), Valerie (Ron) and James (Kevin). Dear grandfather of 7 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 6 great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law to all the Gallant Family. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Lillian Nelles and sister Beverley Coxen. Retired co-founder of Hamilton Video and Sound. Friends may call at the Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown on Tuesday evening 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, 715 Centre Road, Waterdown or Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Freelton. Prayers will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 9 a.m. Donations if desired may be made to the Hamilton and Halton Alzheimers Foundation.
