LEARD, Wellesley Everett, Able Seaman, V2456, RCNVR, Died - 27 Nov 1942, HMCS CAPTOR II - Son of James Everett Leard and Myrtle Livida Leard, of Saint John.
Able Seaman W. E. Leard died by accidentally drowning when the dory he was in capsized at Courtenay Bay, East Saint John, New Brunswick. His body was recovered November 28, 1942. He was buried in the Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John, New Brunswick.
