CONWAY, Leo Charles, AB, V2215, RCNVR, MPK - 22 Oct 1940, HMCS MARGAREE - Son of Charles A. and Mary Conway, of Saint John, New Brunswick; husband of Laura Edith Conway, of Saint John.

 

Able Seaman Conway died when his ship, HMCS MARGAREE, collided with the freighter SS Port Fairy while in convoy and was sunk. 86 of her crew of 143 were lost.
