PILGER, Charles V. - passed away in Kelowna, B.C. on November 24, 2007 at the age of 81. Charles was a decorated veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict serving with the Royal Canadian Navy for twenty-five years. He worked at the U of C for twenty-two years. Charles was predeceased by his wife Anne in 2001. He is survived by his five children and six grandchildren, and one great- grandchild. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff in the critical care unit of the Kelowna General Hospital. There will not be a Memorial Service at his request. In lieu of memorial tributes the family asks that you celebrate life, enjoying the things that brought so much joy to Charles. (Legacy Remembers 01 Dec 2007)
