ROBERTS, James Elder, Wt (E), RCNR, MPK - 16 Apr 1945, HMCS ESQUIMALT - Son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Roberts, of Kamloops, British Columbia; husband of Anne Roberts, of Victoria, British Columbia.

 

Wt (E) Roberts died when his ship, HMCS ESQUIMALT, was torpedoed and sunk by U-190 off the approaches to Halifax harbour.
