ALLISON, Albert Ernest, AB, V8402, RCNVR, MPK - 29 Apr 1944, HMCS ATHABASKAN - son of Alexander and Euphemia Allison; husband of Dorothy Isabelle Allison, Hamilton, ON.

RCNVR DIVISION HAMILTON

HMCS VENTURE - Served in Venture 20 Nov 1940 - 26 Mar 1941 as an OS, RCNVR

HMS SALOPIAN - Served in Salopian 29 Mar 1941 - 28 Apr 1941.  HMS Salopian was a Royal Navy Armed Merchant Cruiser that was sunk on 13 May 1941, two weeks after AB Allison was drafted off.

HMCS ST LAURENT - Served in St Laurent 02 Jun 1941 - 27 Nov 1941 as an OS/AB, RCNVR, and 10 Dec 1941 - 07 Jan 1942 as an AB, RCNVR

HMCS SUNBEAM - Served in Sunbeam 09 Jan 1942 - 18 May 1942 as an AB, RCNVR

HMCS ATHABASKAN - Drafted to Athabaskan 04 Feb 1943 as an AB, RCNVR
