IRVINE, John Moshein, AB, V90822, RCN(R), died 21 Feb 1946, HMCS STADACONA (RCNH) - Son of Mitchell and Ida Irvine, of Calgary, AB.

 

Able Seaman Irvine died of tuberculous meningitis.

 

John Irvine - The death occurred Thursday evening in the Royal Canadian Naval Hospital, of John Irvine, whose home address was given as Calgary. He was 19 years of age. The funeral will be held from Cruikshank's Funeral Home, Robie Street, at 3 p.m. today, with interment being made in Fort Massey cemetery. (Halifax Herald, 23 Feb 1946 page 7 col 2)
