In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
SAUNDERS, William (Cy) - was born Feb. 14, 1947, Sandy Point, Shelburne Co., Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by his 3 brothers, 2 older and one younger than him. He had 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson in New Brunswick; an adopted daughter and 2 great-granddaughters in BC; an adopted son, 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter, 1 great-grandson and 1 great-granddaughter in BC. Cy and I (Paulette) were childhood sweethearts and reconnected in 2012 and married in 2024. He included my daughter, 2 grandchildren and a great granddaughter in BC in his list of children, grandchildren and greats. He suffered a heart attack and stroke on Nov. 1, 2024 and initially was sent to the Manitouwadge Hospital, transferred to the Thunder Bay Hospital and then to Winnipeg where he died in hospital on Nov. 5, 2024
There will be a celebration of life in Terrace Bay, a full Masonic service, in spring 2025 - date to be announced.
