BOURGEOIS, Charles William - on February 23, 1991 at Royal Jubilee Hospital, in his 71st year. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Cecilia; children, Kevin (Linda), John, Marie Ware (Reuben), Anne, Paul, Denise Morton (Kent), Helen; sister, Margherita Pope; nieces and nephews. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1937 and served 27 years, retiring as Commissioned Communications Officer in 1965. He joined the IBEW and worked in many parts of BC as well as Yarrows until retirement at age 65. he was a member of the C.P.O. Assoc. - Pacific and Atlantic, an Honorary Life Member of HMCS Uganda Veterans' Assoc. and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #31. No service by request. Flowers gratefully declined. Those so wishing may make a donation to Hospice Victoria, 1900 Fort St., Victoria, V8R 1J8 or the Anawim Companions Society of Victoria, 4525 Durling Place, Victoria, V8N 4Y9. Cremation arrangements through First Memorial Funeral Services and interment of ashes in family plot at Ross Bay.
