ROBERTSON, Robert Gordon, Tel, V24172, RCNVR, MPK - 18 Mar 1945, HMCS GUYSBOROUGH - Son of Robert and Mary Robertson, of Winnipeg, Manitoba; husband of Violet Isobel Robertson, of Winnipeg.

 

Tel Robertson died when his ship, HMCS GUYSBOROUGH, was torpedoed and sunk by U-868 in the Bay of Biscay with the loss of 53 of her crew. His younger brother, Coder Earl Robertson, was lost in the sinking of HMCS OTTAWA H60.
