DEVINS, James Edward, Sto, A5544, RCNR, MPK - 16 Apr 1945, HMCS ESQUIMALT - Son of John Devins, and of Catherine Devins, of Current River, Ontario; husband of Teresa Devins, of Port Arthur, Ontario.

 

Stoker Devins died when his ship, HMCS ESQUIMALT, was torpedoed and sunk by U-190 off the approaches to Halifax harbour.
