TOTHE, Edward Stephen - Suddenly at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday August 16, 2013 in his 85th year. Predeceased by his wife Edna and his son Robert. Dear father of Lynn and Tim Broughton, Richard and Martha Tothe. Dear grandfather of Rebecca, Joseph and his fiancé Kate, Miranda, Robert and great-grandfather of Morgan. Survived by a brother Jack and his wife Elizabeth and their children Lauri, Michael and their families. Ed was a retired firefighter in Brantford for 33 years and was a life member of the Brant Naval Veterans Association. The family will receive friends at the Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel, 96 West Street on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday August 21st at 11 am. followed by cremation. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
