MARLIN, Cassam Macivor - The family of Cassam (Slim) sadly announces his passing at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary (1983). Beloved father of Lome Martin and his wife Susan and Joan Floyd and her husband Gary. Survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son Raymond and his first wife Florence. Slim served in the Navy during World War II in the North Atlantic theatre. Friends will be received at Westmouth Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South (at Westmount Road), Kitchener, (519) 743-8900, on Sunday, June 1, 2003, from 2 to 3 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
