They made the Ultimate Sacrifice
ST. GEORGES, Marc Arthur Ray - 42, 89 Nester Cr., Forest Hills, died Friday in Amsterdam. Born in Laval, Que., he was the son of Stella (Couture) and the late Gerard St. Georges. He was Command Chief Petty Officer, Royal Canadian Navy. He was a cub leader for the Dartmouth North Scout Assosciation, Shannon heights. He was aa member of the Naval Radar Association. He was a member of the Chiefs and POs Association and the Chief and PO's Mess. He is survived by his wife, the former Margo Patterson; a son, Jason, Halifax; A daughter, Laura at home; four brothers, Guy, Sudbury, Ont,; Marcel, Andre, Laval, Que.; Rene, Mirabel, Que.; a sister, Monique (Mrs. Yves Dugas), Mirabel. The body is in the J. Albert Walker and Sons Funeral Home, 1234 Cole Harbour Rd., visiting 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. Brendan's Church, Stadacona, Rev. John MacIntyre officiating. Cremation to follow with burial at sea. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Fund ore the National Defence Medical Centre, Cardiac Care Unit.
