LEARN, George Francis - of 410 Kraft Rd., Fort Erie died at Douglas Memorial Hospital on December 25, 1989. Born in Bridgeburg, Ontario on January 29, 1925 Mr. Learn was self-employed as a carpenter. He was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church. Surviving are his wife, Hazel Hamilton Learn; his sons, George Wayne and wife Linda o Grimsby; Edward Brian of Fort Erie; his daughters, Sharon (Mrs. Simon Arsenault) of Scarborough and Brenda (Mrs. Ian Wright) of Orillia; 10 grandchildren; his brother Stanley Floyd and wife, Beverly; his sisters: Margaret (Henry) Sider, Hazel (George) Pullen, Florence (Mickey) Bernatz, Vera (Bob) Hamilton, Alice (Carl) Falcon, Marion (Derek) Yarrow, Edna (Chuck) Osborne, Pearl (Jerry) Fleming. Mr. Learn was predeceased by his brothers, Edgar and Alan and by his son, Dale Kevin Learn. Father Ken Cardwell officiated the funeral service held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 28 in the Fort Erie Chapel of the Davidson Funeral Homes. Interment was in McAffee Cemetery.
