SEABROOKE, Stanley - Entered Into Eternal Rest Sunday, Feb. 4, 1973
Requiem mass for Stanley Seabrooke, age 58 of 567 Murray Street, Peterborough was held Tuesday at St. Peter's Cathedral. Mr. Seabrooke's son, Fr. Peter Seabrooke, officiated.
Mr. Seabrook, who died Sunday after a lengthy Illness, was a production clerk for Canadian General Electric for 32 years.
He was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy for three years during the Second World War. He belonged to the Peterborough Naval Association, was Treasurer of the Sacred Heart Credit Union, and a member of CGE Veterans Club.
Mr. Seabrook was son of the late Benjamin Seabrook and the late, former Mabel Elliott.
Born and educated in Peterborough, Mr. Seabrooke is survived by his wife, the former Marie McGarrity, Sons, Douglas James Seabrook, Fr. Peter Seabrooke, and daughters Maryann Alice (Mrs. John King) and Barbara Jean (Mrs. Gerald Brand) all of Peterborough, three brothers, Gordon of Ridgeway, Gerald and Reginald both of Peterborough, sister Dorothy (Mrs. William Thompson) of Peterborough and three grandchildren.
Mr.
Seabrooke was buried at St. Peter's Cemetery. Rev. J.B. O'Dette said
graveside prayers and the final blessing was given by Bishop F.A. Marrocco.
