Korean War service HMCS IROQUOIS - Korean War HMCS NIOBE - as Staff Officer (Torpedo Anti-Submarine) HMCS TRINITY - Appointed to TRINITY 11 May 1956 as Commanding Officer HMCS FUNDY - Appointed to FUNDY 18 Dec 1956 as Commanding Officer HMCS FRASER - Appointed to FRASER 03 Oct 1962 as Commanding Officer. Note: Cdr Thurber's bio states he was appointed to Fraser 15 Oct 1962, however the Navy List show him as assuming command on 03 Oct 1962.
