DALL, William Patrick, Lt (P), RCN, died - 25 Aug 1962, 32 Utility Squadron, RCN - Son of Thomas and Kathleen Pearl (née McHugh) Dall of Belleville, Ontario. Brother of Donald Joseph, Norman Thomas, John Bernard, Robert James, Gerald Michael, Wayne Francis, Mary Lorraine and Barbara Joan. Husband of Bernice Margaret (née Ryan) Dall, Port Wallis, Nova Scotia. Father of Mary Kathleen and Wilma Patrick. Lt. Dall enrolled on 23 August 1954 at HMCS Cataraqui in Kingston, Ontario. His civilian employment had been as a furniture salesman. He played semi-professional baseball for one year, and enjoyed playing hockey, football, and volleyball.

 

Lieut. William Patrick Dall, 27 of Port Wallace, N.S., and Belleville, and Lieut. Larry Adam Viczko, 20 of Dartmouth, N.S., and Abbotsford, B.C. died when their twin-engined Grumman CS2F-1 tracker craft plunged into a farmer's field, three miles north of Trenton after taking off from Trenton's RCAF station. The plane left Shearwater, N.S., on a training flight, arriving at Downsview Airport in Toronto and then flew to Trenton.
