YEADON, Robert Lawrence, AB, V-272, RCNVR, killed - 29 Apr 1944, HMCS ATHABASKAN - Son of Andrew W. Yeadon and Florence Lillian Yeadon, of Armdale, Halifax Co., Nova Scotia.

 

AB Yeadon died when his ship, HMCS ATHABASKAN, was torpedoed and sunk in the English Channel on 29 Apr 1944.  His body was recovered and he was buried in the Ile-de-Batz Communal Cemetery Finistere, France.
