POOL, Ralph Bradford, Shpt 4c, V87252, RCNVR, MPK - 16 Apr 1945, HMCS ESQUIMALT - Son of Clarence O. and Mina R. Pool, of Beaverlodge, Alberta; husband of Kathleen E. Pool, father of Harry Bradford and Mona Sally Pool of Edmonton, Alberta.

 

Shipwright Pool died when his ship, HMCS ESQUIMALT, was torpedoed and sunk by U-190 off the approaches to Halifax harbour.
