ROLLAND, Joseph W. - RCNVR 1938 - 1945 North Atlantic Convoy Duty CN Express 1945 - 1977 - Peacefully at the Pearly Rideau Veterans Health Centre on Wednesday, January 05, 2011. Joseph Rolland aged 89. Husband of Hazel Rolland. Dear father of Doreen (Tom Hardiman), Donald (Sandra Rolland), Joanne McCallum and Judi (Sheldon Straby). Beloved grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Gerard. Predeceased by sisters Anita, Yolande, Fernande, Adrienne, Patricia and brothers Romuald and Edgar. Friends are invited to visit the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa, on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment at Ramsayville Cemetery, Ramsayville at a later date.
