Lewis Evans was born 09 Feb 1926 and lived in Saskatoon, SK, prior to enlisting.  Evans Lake, near Kane Lake, SK was named in his honour.

HMCS UNICORN - Enlisted 04 Sep 1943. Commenced active service 22 Dec 1943 as an Ordinary Seaman, RCNVR

HMCS CORNWALLIS - Drafted to CORNWALLIS 27 Feb 1944

HMCS HUSKY - Served in Husky 15-21 Apr 1944 for training while drafted to CORNWALLIS

HMCS STADACONA - Drafted to STADACONA 07 Jun 1943
