Dexter served in the RNCVR in 1918 as a Mate. During WW2 he served in the RCNR.

Coastal Drifter CD-48 - Appointed to CD-48 on 24 Jun 1918 as Mate, RNCVR

HMCS LAURIER - 2nd Commanding Officer

HMCS VENTURE - Appointed to Venture 01 Jul 1945 as a Skipper Lieutenant, RCNR, Commanding Officer
