Ralph George Lindsey

Died: 28 Nov 2012, Lindsay, Ontario

 

LINDSEY, Ralph George - RCN retired and Retired Physics Teacher from Crestwood Secondary School, Peterborough. Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Wednesday November 28, 2012, in his 89th year. Ralph was the beloved husband of Claudette (nee Bales) for 22 years, and predeceased by his wife Earla (nee Carr, 1928-1989). Loving father of Richard Miller (Anne), Janice Kendall (Bob), Cathy Lindsey-King, Sandra Durnez (Adam) and predeceased by Karen Hilliard and Scott Smith. Fondly remembered by Wanda Kufner (Peter). Cherished grandfather of Geoffrey, Christopher, Aimee, Richard, Jennifer, Owen, Mona, Victoria and Tyler, great grandfather of 8 great granddaughters. Ralph is survived by his brother Bill (June) and predeceased by his parents Ethel and Ned, and brothers Dick, Gord, Ted and Sam. Visitation was held at the Cambridge Street United Church, 61 Cambridge Street North, Lindsay on Saturday December 1 from 12:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Church at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at sea in the Spring of 2013. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Kidney Foundation or the Humane Society Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
