1950: Graduated UBC with BASc in EE.

HMCS Ontario for training.

HMCS Cornwallis for Divisional Course.

HMCS Stadacona for Long Electrical Course.

 

1951: Prom. A/Lt(L)

1952-1956: HMCS Shearwater\ HMCS Magnificent as Air Electrical Officer with various groups and squadrons, including detachments to NAD Scoudouc and RCAF Stn. Summerside.

1956: HMCS Niagara for post-grad studies at the Mass. Inst. of  Technology.

 

1957: Prom.  LCdr (L).

 

1958: Graduated MIT with MSC in EE and Engineers Degree.

HMCS Naden additional on staff of COMSUPTPAC.

 

1959: HMCS Terra Nova as Electrical Officer.

 

1960-1963: Various technical positions in Naval Headquarters, Ottawa.

 

1963: Prom Cdr.

 

1964: HMCS Niobe on staff of CANAVBRIT as Staff Officer (L)

 

1965: CDLS London on staff of  Senior Naval Liason Officer as Deputy NLO.

 

1966-1967: HMCS Naden as OIC Engineering Division, Fleet School, Esquimalt.

 

1968-1972: Various positions in Communications and Electronic Warfare, NDHQ.

 

1972: Prom. Capt.

National Defence College, Kingston.

 

1973-1975: NDHQ developing the Defense Progran Management System.

 

1976-1977: Seconded to Transport Canada to develop the Transport Canada Program Information System.

 

1978: Retired from the RCN

 

1979-1988: Joined DND as a public servant in a series of senior executive positions in the followed by final retirement  as Chief of Program to enjoy myself for the following 30+ years.
