STRANG, Albert P. - of Lower Sackville, born in New Waterford in 1948, passed away October 12th, 2014. a son of the late James and Enis (Caverzan) Strang, he is survived by his wife, Lynne (Nicholson); and sons, Michael (Jennifer), Matthew (Aimee) and Morgan (Melissa); sisters, Patricia (McDonald), Elizabeth (Macinnis); grandchildren, Ryan, Mark, Brady, Mason, Jack and Kendall Strang. Predeceased by his brother, Mark. Albert spent most of his working career in the navy, based in Halifax on various ships and most recently retired from Irving in the Halifax Shipyards. He lived in Sackville for 38 years and had a passion for coaching youth baseball and spending time with friends and family. A generous man, always putting others before himself, Albert will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and no visitation requested. In lieu of flowers, respects can be paid at the Royal Canadian Legion, Calais Branch, 45 Sackville Cross Rd., on Saturday October 18th from 204 p.m. (Chronicle Herald Oct 2014)
