RADBURN, John Andrew - Motorola Canada, 33 years service - Retired. Peacefully at St-Vincent Hospital after a courageous battle with ALS on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, age 82. Beloved husband of Eleanor Proctor. Dear father of Michael (Alannah) of Comox, BC; Scott (Lily) of Vancouver, BC; Lynn (Allen Gogolin) of Palmer Rapids, ON; Robert (Julie) of Ottawa. John will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Andrew, Patrick, Oliver and Lucas. Born in Timmins, Ontario, son of the late Winnifred Andrews and William Radburn. Survived by sister Leona (Douglas Murray), and brothers Leonard (Lola) and William (Diane). Predeceased by sister Doris (Paul Conley) and Brother late Edwin (Clare). Special thanks to staff at the Ottawa General and St. Vincent Hospitals who helped care for John and family during this most difficult time. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, Barrhaven Chapel 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Nepean, ON K2J 4G3, 613-823-4747 Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday to St. Leonard's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:00 a.m. In Memoriam donations to the ALS Society would be appreciated.
