Born: 1926, Queenstown, Queens Co., New Brunswick, Canada

 

Died: May 1979, Queenstown, Queens Co., New Brunswick, Canada

 

Son of Edward Bates Scovil (1885-1954) and Bessie Mildred (née Lawson) Scovil (1895-1989).  Edward is buried in the Saint Stephen Anglican Church Cemetery, Queenstown, New Brunswick.

HMCS BRUNSWICKER - Enlisted Jul 1943

HMCS CORNWALLIS

HMCS SHAWINIGAN - OS Scovil was on leave when HMCS SHAWINIGAN sailed on her final mission and was sunk with the loss of all hands.
