Article from the Lunenburg Progress Enterprise, Wed., 21 Feb 1945, pg Eight - CHESTER - People of Chester were proud to note the announcement made this week by the Naval Department that the Corvette St. Thomas commanded by Lt. Cmdr. L. P. Denny of Chester, N.S. recently sank an enemy U-boat in the North Atlantic. (Research by George Newbury)
