HOUSE, Robert  Arthur Lindsay, L/Wtr, V30412, RCNVR, Died - 09 Jan 1945, HMCS DISCOVER -  Son of Cyril J. House and Margaret House, of Vancouver.

 

Leading Writer R. A. L. House died at Shaughnessy Hospital, Vancouver, British Columbia due to cancer.

 

Leading Writer Robert Arthur Lindsay House, 28, 2360 Southeast Marine Drive, died Tuesday at Shaughnessy Military Hospital. A graduate of John Oliver High School and Pitman's Business College, he enlisted with the navy in 1940. He leaves his parents, Capt. and Mrs. C.J. House; four brothers, Cyril, Vancouver; Herbert, R.C.A.F.; William, RCE; Alfred, city, and one sister, Mrs. E.O. Harvey, Ottawa. Rev. W.H.H. Norman and Rev. N.E. Horton will conduct funeral services to be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, in the Mount Pleasant Undertaking Company Chapel. Committal will be at the Soldiers' Plot, Mountain View Cemetery.
