TURNER, Verne LeRoy, Sto 1c, V78033, RCNVR, died - 07 May 1945, HMCS ROSTHERN / HMCS STADACONA - Son of Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Turner, of Vancouver.

 

Stoker 1st Class Verne Le Roy Turner died in Halifax, Nova Scotia of acute toxemia caused by bacterial toxins in his bloodstream, leading to heart failure. He is buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver, British Columbia.
