JONES, William James, Lt, RCNR, MPK - 24 Nov 1944, Commanding Officer HMCS SHAWINIGAN - Son of William John and Marion Jones, of Birkenhead, England. Husband of Dorothy G. Jones, of Brooklyn, New York State, US.

 

Lt Jones died when HMCS SHAWINIGAN was sunk by U-1228 on 24 Nov 1944. Of her crew of 91, there were no survivors.
