WOOD Norman Angus - At the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2003, Norman Wood in his 80th year; beloved husband of Evelyn Catherine Wood; dear father of Heather, David Patricia, Ronald, and Wendy; survived by his sisters Vera, and Marjorie and his brother David; dear grandfather of six grandchildren; he will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Norman was a 42 year employee of S. C. Johnson and Sons. He was a member of the Dunsdon Legion. He served in the Navy in the Second World War. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday 7 to 9 p. m. and on Saturday from 10 a. m until time of service in the chapel at 11 a. m. WOOD, Norman Angus - Tel 3c - Born 04 Jul 1923 in Brantford, ON. Norman served on HMCS Thunder from Jan 1943 to Jan 1945. He was then drafted to HMCS Chaudiere till Aug 1945 when he was drafted to HMCS Protector II at Sydney, NS. While at Protector he met Evelyn Cameron. After his discharge from the navy in November 1945, they returned to Brantford, ON, where they were married on 08 Jun 1946. Norman passed away 22 May 2003.
