HOSKINS, George Albert - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Albert Hoskins at the age of 87 on July 22, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Jean (née Potter), and the loving father of Lisa (Steve), Bud (Joanne), and John. George was predeceased by his daughter Kathy Turvey (Jim). Grandfather of Michelle, Nick, Lee and Jessica; and great grandfather of Jared, Aiden and Conner. George was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy. He was a retired Canada Customs Officer and a founding lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 32. George enjoyed boating and fishing. A special 'Thank You' to Marna Morgan for being there for him when family could not. He treasured your friendship. A celebration of George's life will take place at a later date. As your expression of sympathy donations to the Royal Canadian Legion War Veterans would be appreciated and may be made through Ferguson Funeral Home , 48 Boucher Street East, Meaford, ON N4L 1B9 (519-538-1320) to whom arrangements have been entrusted.
