Lucien Carrier

Born: 29 May 1918, Montreal, Quebec

 

Died: 17 Apr 2005, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec

 

Lucien Carrier, born 1918 in Montreal. He lost his mother when he was very young so he was raised and taken care or by his older sisters, mainly Jeanne. Even thought he did not get the chance to get a proper education he apprenticed and became a toolmaker. As a result of his training, when he joined the navy they made him a Stoker, working in the boiler room. Lucien married in May 1946 and they had 3 sons. He was a good father and husband. He died at the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Veteran’s hospital on 17 April 2005.
