BREMNER, James Patrick (J.P.) - 29, East Lawrencetown - It is with heavy hearts, and great sadness, that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, brother & son. JP passed away after a courageous battle against cancer in the VG hospital with his wife by his side. He is survived by: Parents: Rosemary Hayes (Norm Hover) and Drew Bremner (Eunice Johnstone); his loving wife, Sacha Bremner (Hebb), His children: Sophia and Jacob; Brothers: Jeremy (Kelly) and Barry. Grandparents: Melanie and David Hayes, Ruth and Barry Bremner; aunts and uncles, Stephanie and Ronald Cameron, Debbie and George Hughes, Heather and Greg Warren; niece Lauren, and nephew Coby. JP spent 12 years in the Canadian Navy in which he completed tours in Afghanistan & Haiti. During his time in the Navy, he spent 4 years as a submariner which he loved. JP's passion was cars, and for the past year he pursued his passion working at R. Keizer's automotive in Porters Lake. On any given day, JP could be found in his garage working on his dream car, his 1972 Chevelle. JP put passion into everything he did, from work, to being an amazing father to his two children. He will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity and sense of humour to all who knew him. We would like to send a special thank you to Dr.Erin Corsten & to the amazing Palliative Care team at the VG hospital for all of your care, support, and compassion. Visitation will be held Thursday October 17th 6-8pm at Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. A Celebration of JP's life will be held on Friday October 18th at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel, Rev. James Haughn officiating. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens to follow service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. We also hope that like JP, you will live everyday with passion, generosity, and each day to it's fullest.
