MAKARSKY, Lee William, L/Writer, V44967, RCNVR, died - 02 Sep 1945, MIRAMICHI - Son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Makarsky; husband of Kathleen M. Makarsky, all of Winnipeg. 

 

L/Writer Makarsky died when the car in which he was a passenger went through a guard rail and into Lake Washington. The car, which was being driven by a US Naval rating, was stolen and being pursued by the police.  L/Writer Makarsky is buried in the Brookside Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB.
