MAHER, Edward, OS, V23651, RCNVR, died - 07 Feb 1942, HMCS MONTREAL (MONTREAL DIVISION RCNVR) - Son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Maher, of Montreal, QC

 

He was admitted to Royal Victoria Hospital on 08 Jul 1941 and was transferred to St. Anne's Hospital, St. Anne de bellevue, QC on 11 Jul 1941. He remained in hospital until his death on 07 Feb 1942. 

 

He was discharged from the RCNVR 25 Nov 1941 as medically unfit.

 

OS Maher died in St. Ann's Hospital, St. Anne de Bellevue, QC of pulmonary tuberculosis. He buried in Notre Dame Des Neiges Cemetery, Montreal, QC.
