KELLY, George Michael - Passed away suddenly at the age of 78, on March 1, 2013 while vacationing in Florida. Predeceased by his brother Donald.
George served as City of Ottawa Councilor from 1985 to 1991 Director, Central Canada Exibition Board. Past President, Ottawa Minto Colts and Ottawa Trojan Minor Football. Ottawa Police, played benefit hockey for special needs children 1970 – 1980. Coached minor football and hockey throughout his life. Volunteer Santa, community Day Cares Senator, Metis Nation of Ontario Veterans Council, Member of Aboriginal Veterans Autochtones.
Received Humanitarian Award for Dedication and Unselfish Services Served in Royal Canadian Navy, Nato Korean Conflict 1952 – 1957,
