MORRISON, Harold Sinclair (Scotty) - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a dear father, husband, and grandfather. Scotty passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer and lung disease. He was delivered into the hands of our Lord on December 20, 2010. Scotty had a full career in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Second World War and Korean War Veteran, before retiring in 1972. He finished his career with Canada Post in 1987. He was predeceased by his wife of 36 years, Marguerite Scott of Truro; his parents, Neil and Jessie (MacKenzie) Morrison, of Charlottetown; sisters, Margaret, Pearl, Dorothy and Betty. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Nicholson), Martins River; sons, Jeffery (Margaret), Fall River; John (Patricia), Ottawa, Ont.; Harold (Marguerite), Porters Lake; stepsons, Terry Wilson (Brenda), Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.; Shawn Wilson (Darlene), Surrey, B.C.; Eric Steele (Nancy), Dartmouth; stepdaughters, Annette (Bruce) Wiseman, Windsor; Rebecca Steele (Stan Bennet), Timberlea; Wendy (Garnet) Hill, Upper Tantallon; Corrine Steele (Don Shipton), Halifax; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews in Charlottetown, P.E.I. and the surrounding area; brother-in-law, Joe Martin, Charlottetown, P.E.I. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 23 in Fairview Lawn Cemetery, 3720 Windsor St., Halifax, Rev. Don Shipton officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
