GILLENO, Frederick Charles Giles (Fred) - Of Middle Sackville, formerly of Dorchester, Ont., passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, in his 51st year. Born on June 2, 1964 in London, Ont., he was the s on of the late Albert 'Ray' Gilleno (2013) and Kathleen (Armstrong) Gilleno (2014). Fred is survived by his daughter, Ashley and son, Ryan; brother, Rob (Linda) of Dorchester, Ont., and nieces, Katelyn and Lauren. Fred started his career on the HMCS Margaree but spent most of his naval career on the supply ship HMCS Preserver and earned medals of honour during his time. He had a love for music and enjoyed sharing his creations with his family. Cremation took place in Nova Scotia. Friends will be received in Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Rd., Dorchester, Ont., Friday, August 15, from 7-9 p.m. A Service of Committal will be held in Dorchester Union Cemetery Columbarium on Saturday, August 16 at 11 a.m. A reception will be held in Royal Canadian Legion Branch 3513, 1227 Donnybrook Dr., Dorchester, Ont. immediately following the service.
