FALLDIEN, Einar Sherwood - Age 72. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear husband and father, Einar Sherwood Falldien on October 27, 2013, in Valley regional Hospital, Kentville. Einar was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Vera (Dunbar) Falldien; and brothers, Gib Hall and Karl Falldien. After 35 years in the RCN he retired to his home in Ellershouse where he continued to spend quality time with his family. Einar is survived by his wife, Rachel (Thomson) Falldien; his sons, Charles Falldien, James (Katherine) Falldien and David Falldien; brother, Jack (Pat) Falldien, Sudbury Ont.; sister, Segrid (Hans) Geiler, Barrie, Ont.; grandchildren, Natalie and McKenzie as well as many nieces and nephews. He has been cremated. If you wish to attend the Celebration of Life, it will be held at 1355 Hwy. No. 1, Mount Denson, N.S. on Saturday, November 2nd from 2-5 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Soldier on Fund. (The Halifax Chronicle Herald, 30 Oct 2013)
