SCHREURS, Sandy Jacob, AB, H10693688, C.A.F. (Navy), died - 17 Feb 1994, HMCS SASKATCHEWAN - Son of Jacbus (Jake) Gerardus Schreurs and Joy Patricia Cunningham of Vernon, BC; husband of Jennifer Corby Walsh of Victoria, BC; brother of Carrilynn Jean Sauer (Nee Schreurs).

 

While on a routine training dive in Howe Sound with six other divers, their team encountered difficulties at depth and AB Sandy Schreurs and his dive partner A/SLt Schiele, died. AB Schreurs was buried with full Military honours in Victoria, BC, on 25 Feb 1994.
